World Beard Day!
What is this thing?
This wonderful day is celebrated on the first Saturday of September. Bearded veikkos have been celebrated for a few years already. The idea is to get together, bond with bearded brothers. Feel the beards and the people behind them. So what should be done today? On www.worldbeardday.com I read that you can prepare, for example, so-called beard-friendly food; and of course with bearded friends. Beardless ruffians can, for example, make the bones of the ribs rattle. Examples of beard-friendly safkos: – BBQ / wild boar on a skewer – Hodarit – Kossu (K18) – Fondue (no mess, no...) Build a bonfire If the permits are in order, have one of your beardless friends build a bonfire. In the evening, you can enjoy yourself while sipping a glass of sparkling wine, enjoying your shave. In the meantime, hopefully your beardless friend is preparing, for example, a little snack - or warming up the party... Change a car tire Take a bearded friend or couple as your tire changing partner. Deflate the car tire and change it. Enjoy your survival skills!World Beard Day games and events:
There are several games. You can freely make an event - or choose a game from the list below: - The Bearded Human Pyramid. The current record is probably 22 people. – Cleansing darts. Put a picture of your least favorite bearded guy on the board - and throw darts at his face. – Kossua (K18). – World Beard Day Pinata. Fill the interior of the beardless man made of paper with goodies (bearded mache). Then give Pesari to the person with the biggest beard and tell them that the paper doll is barking at their beard. – The burning of the effigy. Make a simple, beardless Effigu. Celebrate your beard by burning it. – Attach a fake beard to your friend. By far the easiest – and least challenging – World Beard Day game. – Dungeons and Dragons. I guess the gang is playing fortnite these days?Song lesson
- Knock back Vodka with the band. Sing songs about beards.WBD League Sports - different options:

World Beard Day facts:
- In Spain, cities got to witness boxing, where a bearded man and a beardless boy fought. The bearded man was normally armed with a sharp spear. Usually the bearded one won. - In the Swedish village of Dönskborg, beardless people were evicted from the village to the forest. They were forced to stay there for 24 hours, while effigies in the village burned the cheeks of their loved ones. - The origin of Beard Day is somewhat obscure. Some sources say that the Danish Vikings had a holiday to honor beards, already 800 years before the beginning of our era. Vikings, on the other hand, celebrated beards up to hundreds of times a year – instead of just one day! - At the beginning of time, Vikings also celebrated their beards by raiding neighboring towns, villages and different countries. They were approached by large, armed groups of bearded men. - Today, bearded communities around the world have been encouraged to recognize this wonderful day in public or private World Beard Day celebrations. They can consist of anything from a relaxing family lunch to a lavish, taxpayer-funded party for the entire nation. - Shaving during World Beard Day is considered disrespectful worldwide. Have a great beard day, brothers, come and grab WDB.'s offers now from SHAVE CLUB! I think there are only a couple of times a year.. 😉
