Which soap is suitable for shaving the legs? What's the best thing to shave? We get asked about these a lot, and the short answer is: Everything suits everyone!

Soap doesn't look at gender.

Soap is soap no matter what hairs are shaved with it. This issue was discussedalso in the planer's quick guide, but the same is true for soaps as well. However, the same soaps can be used e.g.for shaving the legsor, for example, for shaving the scalp.

Mutual differences in soaps andin shaving / shaving creamshowever, they are not related to the user's gender, but rather to things related to preferences, skin type or allergies.

Differences between soaps and lotions

Materials used for shaving and shaving can be divided into two categories based on composition:Solid soapsandliquid creams. The biggest difference between these departments is usability and adequacy, cream is easier and faster to lather, while soap is significantly more adequate. There are also differences in the product packaging, cream comes in a tube or jar and soap eitheras a solid pieceor poured into a box/jar.

Traditionally, foam is formed from solid soaprazor bladeusing (instructions for sudella foaming below) and with this method the soap lasts as long as possible. However, bar soaps can also be used without soap. All you have to do is wet the soap and the area to be shaved and lather the soap directly on the skin with circular movements.

Like soap, a liquid cream can also be foamed using a sponge, in which case a smaller amount is usually enough to protect the skin. Creams also have the advantage of speed, i.e. if you don't have the time or desire to start lathering, you can apply the cream to damp skin, spread it with your hand and start driving straight away.
