Use

With Proraso shaving soap: Moisten the brush with warm water, dip it in the shaving soap and lather. Continue to lather either in a bowl (highly recommended) or directly on the face. Rinse the brush after use, squeeze out excess water and store the bristles facing down.

With Proraso shaving cream: Moisten the brush with warm water and squeeze an amount of shaving foam about ten centimeters into the center of the brush. Begin to lather over the face in circular motions. After use, rinse, squeeze out excess water and store bristles down.
